What's the Best Natural Defense Against Cellular Oxidative Stress?

Glutathione is what the body naturally produces when healthy in order to best combat oxidative stress and decrease inflammation.*

ReadiSorb Glutathione Liposomal 4oz Liquid a Lipoceutical Complex

Glutathione is a naturally occurring protein that is made by every cell in your body. It functions to:
–  Neutralize & remove toxins*
–  Decrease inflammation in the body*
–  Enhance immune function*
–  Protect the cells from free radicals that cause oxidation damage*

Your Energy System's ReadiSorb Liposomal / Lipoceutical Glutathione is made from pure Setria® glutathione (Setria® is a registered trademark of Kyowa Hakko Bio Co., Ltd.)

ReadiSorb is made in the USA at an FDA inspected facility that meets strict cGMP ("current Good Manufacturing Practice") standards.

What is Glutathione?

Glutathione is the most abundant cellular antioxidant in oxygen-using cells. Alterations, including deficiencies in glutathione levels, have been found in several neurological conditions.

Glutathione is also essential for the body’s detoxification process. It binds with toxins to form a water-soluble complex that can be excreted through the liver.

Diminished levels of glutathione can lead to decreased efficiency in a number of body systems, including the immune cells designed to kill invading organisms. A wide range of health conditions are associated with low levels of glutathione.

Through a unique process we place reduced glutathione into liposomes, liquid bubbles made from essential phospholipids, to ensure bioavailability.

A naturally occurring protein, Glutathione is called a peptide. It is composed of three amino acids: glycine, glutamine and cysteine. Cysteine contains sulfur and gives glutathione its sulfuric aroma. It also plays a major role in glutathiones' antioxidant and detoxification functions.*

With its anti-inflammatory properties, glutathione is considered a key antioxidant in the functioning of cells. Antioxidant means it helps prevent oxidative stress.*

Oxidative Stress

Oxidation in the outside world is the chemical mechanism that causes rust. Inside the body, oxidation damage, called oxidative stress, causes damage to the proteins that keep the cells and their membranes running. Oxidative stress refers to toxins produced inside the body, free radicals, and those from without, which are caused by the environment. Glutathione plays a critical role in defending cells again oxidative stress.*

Glutathione deficiency contributes to oxidative stress, which plays a key role in aging and many disease states.*

Ingredients

  • Reduced l-glutathione (422.7mg per serving)
  • Purified Water
  • Lecithin - The liposomes in ReadiSorb Glutathione are derived from non-GMO lecithin. The lecithin is an extract of non-gmo soy oil; there is no protein in this product.*
  • Glycerin - Glycerin is used as a sweetener and preservative. It supports the stability of the liposomes and allows for the extended shelf life. Glycerin is a normal product of fat metabolism and is readily converted to glucose for metabolism. ReadiSorb's glycerin is derived from palm fruit oil.*
  • Potassium Sorbate - A natural material used as a preservative to prevent yeast and mold growth. It is a form of sorbic acid, a naturally occurring fatty acid which is easily metabolized in the body. Potassium sorbate is used to preserve wine, baked goods and cheese.*

Liposome Technology

Lipoceutical Products are made using high quality materials and patented liposome technology.*

A liposome is an extremely small (1/2 the width of a human hair), multi-layered bubble (called a vesicle). Liposomes have a fat-soluble exterior and an interior that is watery. They are made from the same type of material as our cell membranes, phospholipids.*

The phospholipids in our liposomes are derived from lecithin, which comes from oil extracted from soy. (Not soy protein.)*

The unique structure of liposomes allows them to encapsulate biologically active ingredients. In this case the liposomes keep glutathione in its reduced, or biologically active state. The liposomes in our product are very stable, which allows use in an oral drink. The arrow in the diagram to the right shows where the glutathione is located in the liposome.*

Liposomes penetrate mucosal tissues allowing for rapid release into the blood stream. Nutrients that are not in liposomes have to pass through the stomach to reach the liver where they are metabolized and released into the bloodstream. Some nutrients are destroyed or compromised by stomach acids. Liposomes avoid the digestive system.*

A paper published in 1965 (Bangham, A.D., Standish, M.M. and Watkins, J.C. (1965) J. Mol. Biol. 13, 238-252) described these vesicles for the first time. Since then they have been the subject of great interest and study. A liposomal delivery system of certain anti-cancer drugs has been used to target various malignancies, and other applications for liposomes range from gene therapy to skin care. Currently there are almost 35,000 articles listed on the PubMed website (www.pubmed.gov) that relate to studies done using liposomes.*

Frequently Asked Question About Lipoceutical Glutathione

Q. What is it? A capsule? Liquid? A pill? Powder?
A. It is a liquid that is sold as a dietary supplement and is meant to be taken orally. See the next question.*

Q. How should I take Lipoceutical Glutathione?
A. Many people take it straight. Others prefer to mix it in a liquid, with orange juice being the most popular choice. It is best to take it in the morning on an empty stomach. If possible, wait 15 or 20 minutes before eating.*

Q. What is the source of the glycerin used in the product?
A. The glycerin is derived from palm fruit oil.*

Q. What is the source of the lecithin?
A. The lecithin is derived from oil, not protein, extracted from Non-GMO soy oil. There is a small, but possible, chance of reaction. People with acute reactions to soy should be cautious using this product.*

Q. Do you use the preservative sodium benzoate in your products?
A. We have never used sodium benzoate.*

Q. What does it taste and smell like?
A.Glutathione has a sulfur molecule that is involved in detoxification. As a result, glutathione has a sulfur aroma and a citrus-like taste. When mixed with water or juice the taste can be mild.*

Q. Why does it smell like sulfur?
A. Glutathione contains sulfur. The sulfur is the reason it is so powerful in binding toxins. In a way it's the secret to glutathione's function and success. The liposome encapsulation reduces the sulfur aroma somewhat. Simply inverting the container a couple of times before ingesting is adequate.*

Q. Can I use Lipoceutical Glutathione in a nebulizer?
A. No, this product is only meant to be taken orally.*

Q. Are there any side effects?
A. We have no reports of serious side effects. Some people are extremely sensitive to any new substance that is introduced to their system. These people should start with a smaller dose. When in doubt, start "low and slow".*

Q. Can I keep it in the refrigerator? How should I store it?
A. Yes, you may keep it in the refrigerator. Keep it out of direct sunlight, away from oven heat and heaters. If your room is not comfortable to you, keep it in the refrigerator. The coloration may change when it is kept in the refrigerator.*

Q. Are any animal products used in Lipoceutical Glutathione?
A. There are NO animal products used in Lipoceutical Glutathione.*
